There is a strange pressure in life to have everything figured out.

You’re expected to know what you want, where you’re going, who you’re becoming, and how you’re going to get there.

But the truth is… you don’t have to know everything right now.

It’s okay to be uncertain.

It’s okay to change your mind.

It’s okay to outgrow old dreams.

It’s okay to take a different path than the one you originally imagined.

Sometimes we think we need a perfect plan before we can move forward. But life doesn’t work that way.

You learn by moving.

You discover yourself through experiences.

You understand what you want by discovering what you don’t want.

You become stronger by facing things you never thought you could handle.

So if you feel lost right now, don’t assume you’re failing.

Maybe you’re simply in the middle of becoming someone new.

Not every season of life is meant to be productive. Some seasons are meant to heal you. Some are meant to teach you. Some are meant to slow you down so you can finally hear your own thoughts.

Don’t rush just because everyone around you seems to be moving faster.

Your journey is yours.

You don’t need to prove that you’re successful to people who don’t understand your struggles.

You don’t need to explain every decision you make.

And you certainly don’t need to have your entire future planned today.

Just focus on the next step.

Then the next one.

And eventually, you’ll look back and realize that all those small steps created a life you once only hoped for.

So breathe.

Give yourself permission to grow slowly.

Give yourself permission to start over.

Give yourself permission to not know.

You are allowed to be a work in progress.

The person you are today doesn’t have to be the person you become tomorrow.

Keep learning.

Keep growing.

Keep believing in yourself.

And most importantly, keep going.

You may not know exactly where you’re headed yet…

…but that doesn’t mean you’re not getting somewhere. ❤️
